Class A:      Al Penrose Ferrari 250 Very impressive car for a basically 36 year old
                   stock car.
                   Al Penrose Cooper Ford Very impressive car for a basically 36 year old
                   stock car.
                   Matthieu Visser's Lola Nicely balanced car, fast and easy to drive.
                   The other cars in the class suffered from a lack of traction.

Class B       The Bugatti was the best all around car of the day in any class.
                   The Mercedes full-fender GP car was almost as good.
                   The other cars in the class suffered from a lack of traction.

Mini class    The STP mini was the most fun to drive and Foam's was the most
                   impressive as far as engineering.  The mini's mostly worked well.  I'm 
                   looking forward to next year with these.
                    How about a TSRF mini?

Class E       I didn't drive any of the magnet cars.  As a spectator all of the cars
                   EXCEPT the GT40 appeared to have too much magnet.  The wood 
                   chassis car was fast when the braid was right (not often).

Magnet class: I thought that people would have learned the lessons from Dennis Hill's car last year, but no.  I thought I didn't have a chance in heck but I should have tuned up one of my stock Fly cars and I could have had a good chance.  I just psyched myself out.  I should have known better.  Like two years ago, last year and once again this year, reliable and easy to drive wins out over trick and or fast.  A "lap-getter" wins again.  The reason that Dennis car was so great last year was because it had all three attributes.
