Probably the most diverse slot car manufacturer ever. They made so many diferent chassis, so many diferent bodies! In both 1/24 and 1/32 scale! To own a complete collection of every car manufactured by Strombecker (Including all variations) is near to impossible. They were great cars in the 60's. In the 70's the cars became more and more cheaply built. In the 80's they started private-labeling cars from Polistil. They finally ceased operations in the 80's. Only Scalextric produced more cars than Strombecker, but the cars from Scalextric were not as diverse as the ones from Strombecker.
